And… people who love literature!
Virtual Author Festival coming — an opportunity to explore what local authors are writing and saying
Get ready for an exhilarating literary experience as the Cobourg Public Library unveils its first Virtual Author Festival in partnership with the Northumberland Spirit of the Hills Association.
From November 13 to 17, the world of words will come alive on Facebook, bringing you face to face with some of the most talented authors from the local community.
Head to @CobourgPL between November 13th and 17th to check it out.
But that’s not all – they’re not just celebrating the seasoned writers. They’re hosting a Young Writers Competition that extends from November 1 to 25. With three distinct prize categories, this competition is not only an opportunity to showcase young talent but also a chance to win some fantastic prizes.
Hosted on Facebook, the festival promises to be an unforgettable journey of storytelling, creativity, and inspiration. Whether you’re an avid reader, aspiring writer, or simply curious about the minds behind local publications, this event is designed to educate and inspire.
The festival will feature short video interviews with local authors, providing a unique opportunity to get to know the creators behind the stories. You’ll have the chance to explore their works, gain insights and perhaps even discover your new favorite book. This is an exclusive chance to connect with authors, ask questions in the comments, and delve deeper into the fascinating world of local literature.
