3 Sessions at Venture 13 — open to public
The Town of Cobourg’s Planning and Development Division has announced the upcoming Heritage Matters Speaker Series — a journey into the world of heritage conservation in both theory and practice.
Heritage Matters is a three-part series, held on Tuesday evenings, for heritage property owners, real estate and construction professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about heritage conservation.
“Heritage is not just about the past; it’s about shaping our shared future,” said Marina Smirnova, the Town of Cobourg’s Heritage Planner. “Through this series, we seek to inspire a deeper appreciation for our town’s cultural legacy and encourage active involvement in its protection. Together, we can ensure that the rich tapestry of our history remains intact for generations to come.”
Industry professionals will guide you through topics including heritage registers and permits, traditional building materials, and how to maintain historic properties. Heritage Matters is a unique opportunity to learn how to take care of your property and become a steward of our shared cultural heritage.
