Campbellford – Fri., Oct. 6, 2023 – Two people have been charged for alleged possession of controlled substances in Campbellford.
On October 6, 2023, officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Peterborough/Northumberland Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed a warrant in Campbellford. As a result, quantities of suspected Cocaine and Oxycodone, and Canadian currency were seized.
Stephanie BOWMAN (age 40) from Campbellford was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking – other drugs
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- Driving while under suspension – while suspended under HTA
Dale BOWMAN (age 39) from Campbellford was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking – other drugs
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
Both the accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on November 1, 2023.
