Film Access Northumberland presents filmmaker & special effects makeup artist Randy Daudlin
Kick off the Halloween season with an evening of REEL CREATURES alongside filmmaker and special effects makeup artist Randy Daudlin.
Daudlin will talk about crafting makeup effects and share behind-the-scenes stories of directing horror films on a shoestring budget.

In 2006, Daudlin wrote and directed the horror film “BOTTOM FEEDER,” starring Tom Sizemore which will be screened.
After the screening, there will be a moderated discussion with a q&a about the filmmaking process, the horror genre, and the inspiration behind “BOTTOM FEEDER.”
With firsthand experiences and gritty insights, Randy will shed light on the creative struggles, last-minute solutions, and the often overlooked sacrifices that go into bringing terror to life on both large and small budget productions.

Randy Daudlin is an award-winning makeup artist with a career spanning over three decades. Randy has also worked as an instructor, brand ambassador, writer, director, and author. He has directed two feature films, written screenplays, three acclaimed “out of kit” makeup FX reference books, and a debut novel.
Among Randy’s notable makeup and special effects credits are many film and tv productions such as Ginny & Georgia, Star Trek Discovery, The Boys, Cardinal, What We Do In the Shadows, Shadowhunters, Spiral , and many more.
