Join groups of people hiking, biking accompanied by their barking dogs during the return of Annual ‘Hike, Bike and Bark for Hospice’ event on Sunday, October 1st, 2023 at 9 a.m. in Victoria Park, Cobourg!  

This year, is a one-day event designed to bring our community together to celebrate, remember and raise funds for the Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre Foundation.

The Foundation’s purpose is to raise funds to support the operation of Community Care Northumberland’s hospice service programs in our community including the Palliative Care Community Team and Volunteer Hospice Visiting program which operate alongside the 24/7 end-of-life care provided at Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre, all offered at no cost to the client.

This year, Hike, Bike and Bark for Hospice is all about flexibility and fun!

Whether you’re an individual, a family, or a team, you can be part of this incredible journey. Choose your activity – hike, bike, or walk your furry friend. There will be a 1km and 5km route to choose from!   

After the success of the hybrid event in past years, organizers have announced that participants can now collect their registration kits on the day of the event. Sign in and registration starts at 9am! Each kit includes a snazzy t-shirt, a scrumptious cookie from Roda’s Kitchen, and other goodies & surprises!
