Every Thursday at 10:30 a.m., Family Storytimes – a drop-in session for preschool-aged children. Learn, create, and socialize through stories and crafts. For Teens: Gamer Nights and ‘Knit Lit Social’
Every Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. is Gamer Night, where you can dive into the realm of Super Smash Brothers and forge new friendships. Also starting a weekly Monday night ‘Knit Lit Social,’ on September 11th, where you can knit and discuss your recent reads in a cozy, laid-back setting.
For Seniors: Boomers and Beyond – Your Path to Knowledge and Connection
Starting September 8th, come on down for ‘Boomers and Beyond,’ which is an exclusive program for seniors with informative speakers and light refreshments. Expand your horizons and foster connections within the community from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Rotary Room.
Ontario Public Library Week (October 16th to 22nd)
Each year, Ontario Public Libraries celebrate by dedicating an entire week to fun programming that highlights the high points of what the library has to offer. This year, mark your calendars for a golden ticket challenge, iron-on decals in support of libraries, local celebrities serving you popcorn, a bookmark creation station, puzzling and so much more! Make sure you save Saturday, October 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as that’s when the annual Silent Auction and Book Sale takes place. It’s not to be missed!
