Say “I Do” at the Art Gallery of Northumberland
The Art Gallery of Northumberland (AGN) is pleased to announce that the gallery is now offering micro wedding package including the ceremony and reception for those seeking a sophisticated celebration surrounded by contemporary art.
The AGN’s Micro-Wedding package is designed for a group of up to 25 guests, providing an elegant ceremony in the gallery surrounded by contemporary art, followed by a reception, all within a three hour time frame.
The main gallery space offers 550 square feet of modern elegance, including hardwood floors and gallery quality lighting.
Artwork by Canadian artists, from the AGN’s collection and by local artists, provides the perfect backdrop to exchange nuptials.
- Gallery rental with 30 chairs, cruiser tables, security, consultation with gallery staff, and gallery supervisor for event.
- Photographer, two hours of time and a file of unedited photos.
- Officiant, consulting time and a 10 minute service.
- Florist, one bouquet designed with seasonal flowers and one boutonniere.
- Violinist, one hour of time, some consulting for requested songs.
- Catering, three to four appetizers for 25 guests. Beverages are not included.
- Vendors from the community.
Beyond micro-weddings the gallery space can also be rented for other smaller events including celebrations of life, baptisms, or small business meetings.
“We are thrilled to now be able to host weddings and other smaller events surrounded by contemporary Canadian artwork, within the historical building of Victoria Hall,” said Olinda Casimiro, Executive Director of the Art Gallery of Northumberland. “From your photographer to your officiant, to the caterer and musician, we have sourced local vendors within Northumberland County. I anticipate the rest of our 2023 year to be filled with art, love and well, more love!”
