OPP Arrest Campbellford Resident

Police at the Scene Closed Roads During the Arrest

Campbellford – Fri., July 7, 2023 – Members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) made an arrest in connection to an unwanted person call yesterday, which had resulted in several road closures in Campbellford.

On July 6, 2023, at approximately 8:50 a.m., officers were dispatched to an unwanted person call at a residence on Canrobert Street South in Campbellford. As a precaution, officers contained the location closing several local roads, including sections of Grand Road, Canrobert Street South and Inkerman Street.

At approximately 2:45 p.m., the subject of the complaint was located and arrested without incident.

As a result of the investigation, Tristen PEACOCK, 25 years old, of Campbellford, was arrested and charged with:

  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Utter Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on August 23, 2023.
