ENSS captures 37th consecutive Bay of Quinte team title

The ENSS track and field team captured their 37th consecutive Bay of Quinte team title, in Belleville on Wednesday with a total of 958.5 points. Bayside SS was second with 407 points and St. Theresa CSS was third with 392 points.

The blue dragons also won the overall girls team championship (430.50 points) and the overall boys’ team championship (528 points).

A total of 82 individual ENSS athletes and 14 relay teams have qualified for the COSSA championship, Thursday, May 25, in Belleville.

Dominic Rittwage led the way for ENSS individual awards, winning the novice 100 m (12.92), 200 m (24.49), and 400 m (54.42). Dominic anchored his 4 x 100 m relay team – including Chase Eddy, Jawin Jeyapiraks, and Jakob Karpets – to a first place finish (50.51). Dominic’s open 4 x 400 m team – including Jacob Wamboldt, Cody Calnan, Carter Geens – was second (3:54).
