Every $1 you donate is a chance for CCN to WIN $20,000
Community Care Northumberland (CCN) is once again participating in the ‘Great Canadian Giving Challenge’.
Every dollar donated online to CCN during the month of June earns the organiztion a chance to win the $20,000 grand prize from Canada Helps.
Trish Baird, CEO of CCN said, “We know the need in our community is great when it comes the core services offered by Community Care Northumberland. When we dream about what a $20,000 prize would allow us to do to further to support the residents of Northumberland County, we think about how many more people in our community we could reach with your support.”
An example of where funds raised go towards is our Meals on Wheels program: for less than $50, you can provide a resident of Northumberland with 7 meals, ensuring their nutritional needs are met (Hot Meals: 7 meals X $7.00 per meal = $49.00/Frozen Meals: 7 entrees X $6.00 per entrée = $42.00).
This month, every $1 you donate is a chance for CCN to WIN $20,000 during the Great Canadian Giving Challenge. So, the more you donate, the greater the chance CCN wins the grand prize and continues to support the needs of our community.
Donations can be made through www.canadahelps.org and more information on CCN’s core programs can be found at www.commcare.ca. The deadline to submit donations is June 30th.
