The Municipality of Trent Hills is pleased to invite the public to the Warkworth Arena on Sun., Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon to celebrate the new and improved facility.
Please come and tour the renovations, enjoy free public skating and a hot chocolate.
The $1.6 million renovation includes new dressing rooms, an expanded lobby area, and numerous accessibility improvements. These renovations have made the spaces fully accessible and inclusive.
The project also includes upgrades to the HVAC, insulation, and lighting to improve energy efficiency.
These improvements will enhance the many community events and recreation programming that take place in the Warkworth Arena.
The project was funded in part by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FED/DEV Ontario), the Municipality of Trent Hills and community donors tot he Flourish Campaign including the Friends of Warkworth Arena and the Warkworth Service Club.
