Campbellford Memorial Hospital Celebrating 70th Anniversary

Campbellford – Aug. 17, 2023 – Campbellford Memorial Hospital is thrilled to announce its momentous 70th anniversary celebration, marking seven decades of dedicated hospital service to the community.  This milestone event promises an unforgettable day filled with food, games, activities for children, special guests, and much more.

Established in 1953, Campbellford Memorial Hospital has been at the heart of our community, providing exceptional healthcare services and fostering a nurturing environment for patients and families alike. As we look back on seven decades of growth and achievements, we take pride in the progress made and the unwavering support received from the community.

The anniversary festivities will take place on Aug. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the main parking lot at the hospital and we extend a warm invitation to everyone to come together to celebrate the vital role the hospital has played in enhancing the well-being of our community.

Highlights of the event include:
 BBQ lunch, cake, cotton candy and more.
 Exciting games and activities for children.
 Speeches reflecting on the hospital’s history and the contributions of staff, volunteers, and community members.
 Sneak peak at some of our future redevelopment plans.

It serves approximately 40,000 Northumberland, Peterborough and Hastings County residents, as well as a large seasonal population of cottagers and tourists enjoying the beautiful Kawartha Lakes Region and the Trent River System.
