ENSS Results From OFSAA Competition In Ottawa

Results of  the OFSAA championship — Terry Fox Athletic Facility — June 8-10

Eleven athletes from East Northumberland Secondary School Track and Field team competed at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) track and field championship at the Terry Fox Athletic Facility, in Ottawa, June 8-10.

Zack Flatt competed in senior shot put where he earned a 10^th place finish with a personal best 12.98 m.  Zack was 18^th in discus, with a best throw of 36.84 m.

The senior boys’ relay team – Malcolm Whittle, Aidan Fairbanks, Zaid Wedderburn-Harper, and Brayden Clarke – finished 11^th in 44.35 s.

Jawin Jeyapirakas was 17^th in novice 300 m hurdles with a time of 45.33 s.

The novice girls’ relay team – Kate Andrews, Azariyah Barnes, Emma Corkery, and Phoebe Mooney – were 19^th in 53.92 s.

Aidan Molenhuis competed as a first-year senior in high jump, where he finished 20^th with a jump of 1.75 m.
