Cobourg gives the go-ahead for the traditional Canada Day Parade and Celebrations in Victoria Park
Following two years of virtual activities, Cobourg has announced the return of the Cobourg Canada Day Parade and celebrations in Victoria Park. In addition to Canada Day, community and cultural events are back on.
“It has been a challenging time for our local businesses and community,” says Councillor Adam Bureau. “With the return of great community events like Canada Day and the Waterfront Festival I am excited to once again see our local restaurants and businesses full and to provide people with activities that bring them joy.”
The Town of Cobourg Canada Day celebrations will once again be partnered with the Cobourg Waterfront Festival, hosted by the Rotary Club of Cobourg and the Cobourg Lions Club. Local residents and their guests can expect to see Victoria Park and Rotary Harbourfront Park full with musical entertainment, art shows, great food and beverage and activities for kids.
